A mist system uses 70% less water than a traditional fire sprinkler system. In the event of an activation, the water damage will be minimal. Mist systems also require smaller tanks than traditional fire sprinklers, making them more cost and space effective.
Common misconception: All heads in the building will activate in the event of a fire – This is not the case. Only heads closest to the fire will operate.
